LPC-Supervision
Choosing a supervisor for this stage of your career is an important decision. The first step of the process is an informal interview where the supervision process and contract are gone over. Please bring your questions about the supervision process to the interview.
The interview typically lasts between an hour to an hour and a half. After the meeting, the Supervisor and Intern will both determine if they would like to work together. The supervision contract will be signed by both parties and the Intern application will be completed and sent into the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors.
Supervision will begin once the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors accepts the LPC-Intern’s application. Please contact Shannon Deitch or Bonnie Mondragon for more information.
RPT-Supervision
RPT-Supervision
This is a service that will look different depending on current licensure, goals, and workplace.
- Certified School Counselors can obtain their School Based Registered Play Therapy (SB-RPT) Credential through this supervision process.
- Licensed Mental Health Professionals can choose to add a specialization by perusing the Registered Play Therapist Credential.
- Licensed Professional Counselor-Interns can incorporate the Registered Play Therapy Credential into the LPC Supervision process.
